Environmental Policy
Brandart Ltd provides branded merchandise to major visitor attractions in the UK, Europe and beyond. We are committed to providing quality products whilst minimising the impact of our business activities on the environment.
Climate change is something that affects us all and we will strive to use pollution prevention and environmental best practice across our business to reduce carbon emissions, which are the main driver for rising sea and air temperatures.
We will achieve this through
Sourcing and developing products that minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution and taking into consideration the whole life cycle of the product.
Purchasing recycled or recyclable products and materials where these alternatives are available, economical and suitable.
Avoiding the use of palm oil, which is a large contributor of deforestation; and favour cotton, wood and paper materials that are derived from sustainable forests.
Working with suppliers to encourage environmental best practice based on internationally recognised schemes, such as ISO14001, and to seek partnerships with manufacturers that use renewable energy sources in their production processes.
Minimising waste, both tangible and intangible, by continuously evaluating our operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst our stakeholders and use recycling partners with zero to landfill policies.
Continually improving our environmental performance by monitoring progress against targets and objectives on a regular basis.
Raising awareness and training employees to encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Operating in compliance with all relevant UK environmental legislation.
